Georgia to host events on occupation of Shusha and Lachin

Azerbaijani MP, chairperson of “Eurasian Institute of International Studies” NGO and Azerbaijan-Georgia inter-parliamentary friendship group Ganira Pashayeva will visit Georgia to attend a commemorative event on the 20th anniversary of the occupation of Shusha and Lachin by Armenian armed forces.

The event will be co-organized by Georgian Azerbaijanis Culture Centre and “Eurasian Institute of International Studies” NGO.

Pashayeva will be accompanied by the author of the “54 days in Armenian siege” book Ali Aliyev.
The event will feature the demonstration of “Shusha – a destroyed cradle of culture” movie made by “Eurasian Institute of International Studies” NGO.

Aliyev’s book will be distributed to the participants. The film’s and the book’s copies will also be sent to a number of educational institutions, NGOs and mass media in Georgia.
