Azerbaijan never allow to use country’s territory against its neighbors

Azerbaijan will never allow to use the country's territory against its neighbors, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev said at a press conference on Monday.

According to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan is pursuing completely independent foreign policy.

"We have many time declared about good neighborhood policy with our neighbors. And Iran is not an exception," Abdullayev said.

He stressed that the country's good neighborhood policy is based on two general points.

"The first one is mutual respect and second one is non intervention in internal affairs. We are committed to the development of neighborhood policy, and we will never allow to use Azerbaijan against the neighbors," Abdullayev said.

"This is what we are pursuing. We want it from our neighbors too," he added.
