'Azerbaijan keen to boost cooperation GUAM states'

Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) Valery Chechelashvili met with chief of Azerbaijani delegation in GUAM PA Elton Mammadov in Milli Majlis. Mr. Chechelashvili said the GUAM works out new projects to expand relations with international structures.

Mr. Mammadov underlined the government of Azerbaijan is keen to boost cooperation with GUAM member states even more. Some events, which are scheduled to be held in the mid of 2012 will create good opportunities for cooperation.

Mr. Chechelashvili touched on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine and Georgia and participation of GUAM PA mission in the processes. The sides also discussed prospects of GUAM and cooperation with international organizations
