Azerbaijani MPs to speak at PACE session

The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held in Strasbourg from April 23 to 27 .

Azerbaijani delegation at the session will be led by chairman of the committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary relations of the Azerbaijani parliament, the head of the permanent delegation of Azerbaijan to the PACE Samad Seyidov, the official website of the Parliament reported.

The delegation includes MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Rovshan Rzayev, Aydin Abbasov, Elkhan Suleymanov, Rafael Huseynov, Sabir Hajiyev, Sahiba Gafarova and Fazil Mustafa.

The session participants will hear the report of the PACE Standing Committee on the work done, elect new vice presidents of the Assembly, exchange views on the impact of the Arab spring, the situation in Syria, the future of the European Court of Human Rights, the situation of internally displaced persons in the North Caucasus and other issues.

Azerbaijani parliamentarians will speak during discussion of these issues.
