Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov held bilateral meetings with counterparts from several countries in Brussels within a meeting of ministers of countries - participants of the ISAF operation in Afghanistan, the Foreign Ministry said.
Mammadyarov discussed the situation in the region and issues of mutual interest at a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
At a meeting with Foreign Minister of New Zealand Murray McCully views were exchanged on prospects of bilateral cooperation. McCulley invited Azerbaijani Minister to visit New Zealand.
Mammadyarov also met with foreign ministers of Georgia, Ukraine and Montenegro, with whom he discussed issues of bilateral relations and cooperation.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu during a meeting within ISAF meeting in Brussels, the Posta newspaper reported.
"At the meeting we discussed the situation in the region and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We have common views on many issues. The meeting was successful," Davutoglu told Turkish journalists.
