“The problem of Gabala Radar Station between Russia and Azerbaijan will not reach an unsettled level”, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov told APA’s Moscow correspondent.
Deputy Minister said that this problem doesn’t threaten the development of Russian- Azerbaijan bilateral relations: “The mutual constructive relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are an example for the other countries.”
Asked about the results of the negotiations on Gabala Radar Station, Ryabkov said: “We couldn’t hold negotiations through media outlets. Could you understand? Unfortunately, diplomacy is like grain cultivation. Therefore the envoys and negotiators must be provided with an opportunity. Officials of the Foreign Affairs and Defense ministries are directly participating in the negotiations.”
