'Azerbaijan, Indonesia have excellent relationships'

Azerbaijan and Indonesia have excellent relationships, now it is important for Azerbaijan and Indonesia to enhance our bilateral economical relations,  Indonesian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Prayono Atiyanto said.

“We have to translate our good political relations into economical, social and political relations,” he noted in an interview with APA. “Azerbaijan has large experience in sphere of energy, Indonesia is also experienced in this field probably; we can exchange our experience in this field. We can also intensify cultural and educational exchange. Annually we send one or two students to Indonesia to enhance their knowledge in Indonesian art and culture and we also offer master programs.”

As for Indonesia’s official position on Nagorno Karabakh conflict,  the diplomat said Indonesia is with Azerbaijan. “We support the concept of territorial integrity. Our position is very clear. We want to see the settlement of the problem by peaceful way. It could be resolved only by negotiations because Azerbaijan and Armenia are neighbors.
