MEPs meet Azerbaijani refugees

Members of the European Parliament have visited Azerbaijani refugees in Baku. The parliamentarians inspected the living conditions of Azerbaijanis who became refugees as a result of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Refugees, settled in a college dormitory, said they were living in harsh conditions. The European MPs said they understood the refugees` problems, and vowed to increase the international community`s awareness of the issue. They also promised to raise the issue at the European Parliament.
