Hungarian MPs 'demand just attitude for Azerbaijan'

29 February 2012 [09:52] - TODAY.AZ
A group of deputies of Hungarian Parliament issued a statement on the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide. Head of Hungary-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group, deputy chairman of the parliament’s commission on foreign affairs Márton Gyöngyösi signed the statement.

The statement included information about Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan, the massacre perpetrated by Armenians in Khojaly.

“According to the international law norms, ethnic cleansing carried out against Azerbaijanis by Armenians is a crime. The UN Security Council adopted four resolutions demanding an unconditional and immediate withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan`s occupied lands.

The world media demonstrated the crime committed by Armenians. This is unjust that the world community does not consider importance of remembering the tragedy of the Azerbaijanis, unlike other genocides, does not pay attention to the problems of more than one million Azerbaijanis. We require just attitude for Azerbaijan,” statement said.
