Azerbaijani President holds several meetings - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday received a delegation led by Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Necdet Ozel. Chief of the General Staff Necdet Ozel conveyed Turkish President Abdullah Gul`s and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s greetings to the Head of State.

During the meeting, they underlined friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were developing successfully in all fields, including military one. It was noted that Necdet Ozel`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to expanding the two countries` military cooperation even more.

The Azerbaijani leader asked the Chief of the General Staff to deliver his greetings to the Turkish President and Prime Minister.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort. They exchanged views on the negotiations to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
