Azeri IDPs condemn French Senate`s pro-Armenian bill

IDPs of Azerbaijan`s Lachin region have condemned the passage by French Senate of a bill criminalizing the denial of the so-called Armenian genocide.

The statement says the adoption of the bill serves falsification of history and contradicts fundamental human rights, freedom of speech and expression, truth, justice and the principle of democracy. IDPs also denounced the bill as unconstitutional, adding its passage in France, which champions the human rights, was a source of regret.
