Why did the world turn a blind eye to 'frolics' of Armenia?

24 January 2012 [13:23] - TODAY.AZ
All countries, which use the services of terrorist organizations, mark the anniversary of these structures, political scientist Rasim Agayev said, when commenting on the reports that Armenia celebrated the anniversary of the ASALA terrorist organization

“It’s no surprise that Armenia celebrates the anniversary of ASALA,” he said. “ASALA can be viewed as one of the terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda and others raging in the world.”

“These organizations are useful for special services, and they served different masters at different stages. Therefore, a blind eye was turned to 'frolics' of Armenia and Armenian nationalists,” he said

“I think that a war should be declared against ASALA, as, in due time, Turkey did against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), achieving official recognition of the party as a terrorist organization,” he noted.

The Armenian authorities support these terrorists.  ASALA has links with many shadow players in the world arena. “I believe an active struggle against them in the diplomatic, propaganda, information and political fields should be carried out,” he noted.
