Baku waits for MEPs' visit

A delegation of the European parliament will visit Baku from Feb.1 to 4, 2012, head of the Azerbaijani delegation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Elkhan Suleymanov told Trend on Monday.

He said the visit aims at familiarizing with preparatory work for the Euronest PA session, which will be held in Baku.

"Work on the session's program continues in Baku. During the session meeting of the bureau and committees and later plenary meeting of the PA will be held. All organizational arrangements are being implemented to hold the session at high level," Mr Suleymanov said.

Meetings of all committees and working group on procedural rules to prepare for the Euronest PA session will be held in late Jan, 2012.
