Iraq offers help in spreading objective info on Karabakh problem

Iraq may become Azerbaijan's window to the Arab world in spreading the truth about the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, chairman of the Iraqi parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations Humam Hamoody told Trend in an exclusive interview.

"I have offered Iraq's help in spreading objective information on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem in the Arab world since these countries have a lot in common," Mr Hamoody said.

He said Arab countries have always supported Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh problem. This support accounts for several reasons. First of all, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the problem of the Muslim population, secondly, it is a humanitarian problem and thirdly, Arabs also faced similar problems such as problem of Palestine, the Iraqi MP said.
