
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon in Washington on Jan.17, the Russian Foreign Ministry's website reported.
During the meeting Karasin and Gordon discussed prospects of conflict resolution in Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniestria, the report says. The meeting also discussed issues of mutual interest of Russia and the U.S. with Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and the Transcaucasian states, the Foreign Ministry reported.
