Azerbaijan, U.S. voice importance of further coop

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received today U.S Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric Rubin. He informed the guest that the relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S. are developing well. He stressed the importance of further cooperation in various fields, the Foreign Ministry told Trend today.

Rubin appreciated the Azerbaijani side's efforts to ensure international peace. The sides exchanged views on cooperation in the energy sector, the situation in the Middle East and the South Caucasus, the negotiations for the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and other issues of mutual interest.
