Azerbaijan announces UNSC Committee that it will chair

Azerbaijan will chair the UNSC Committee concerning the Democratic Republic of Congo. Morocco and Pakistan will be a vice-chairs, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev said.

"Azerbaijan will be a vice-chair in the Committees on the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, which will be chaired by South Africa, and the other a vice-chairs will be Portugal and the Great Britain.
 
Further, Azerbaijan will be a vice-chair in the UNSC Committee concerning the Sudan, which will be chaired by Colombia and UNSC Committee on the Situation in the Middle East, and the Committee concerning the Korean Democratic Republic," he said.
