Expert comments on ‘revolution road map’ in Armenia

16 January 2012 [12:18] - TODAY.AZ
Political analyst Fikret Sadikhov said the fact that a revolutionary situation emerged in Armenia is obvious and indisputable. "This is just the most classic form of the model, when the upper classes can not, and the bottoms do not want. Of course, we must be realistic. All these do not suggest that a revolution will occur in Armenia in the coming days and the existing regime will be overthrown. But the truth is that this regime tortured all,” he said.

The regime has turned Armenia into a poverty-stricken country, isolated from its neighbors and deprived of participation in any regional projects and it led to that citizens are leaving the country. Neither foreign, nor the domestic political issues can be solved. The economy is on the verge.

"If some are thinking about the elaboration of the road map of the revolution in Armenia, then it is a serious symptom to Yerevan, and they should think about this. Because if it would be more spontaneous, I think that the regime will not be able to stay in the power,” he added.

”On the other hand, regardless of the road map will be developed or not, the policy of today’s Armenia leads the country to the final crisis and to that the people will dismiss leadership from power. The situation is serious enough in Yerevan and the Armenian leadership should ponder and draw the appropriate conclusions,” Sadikhov said.
