
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Secretary General of the Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci signed the agreement on cooperation. The agreement features issues concerning status of the headquarters of Organization`s secretariat in Istanbul.
Davutoglu said that Turkish states mark the 20th anniversary of their independence this year and they had made great progress during this period. He expressed hope that the 21st century ‘will be the century of Turkic speaking countries’.
