“Economic, social and political crisis intensified in Armenia in 2011,” Member of the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties, Asim Mollazade said. He commented on Dashnaktsutyun Party's National Assembly (NA) Faction leader Vahan Hovhannisyan’s interview with REGNUM agency on internal political situation in Armenia .
“Armenia is passing through demographic crisis in addition to the economic, social and political disaster,” he said “I am sure that the crisis will be intensified each year, until Armenia radically changes its policy and stop aggression and occupation of the Azerbaijani territories."
“The Armenian side should draw conclusions from the situation in which, Armenia found itself. The only possible solution for Armenia is to start the peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. As for unemployment and depopulation, I think that every year the situation will get worse and worse if serious steps are not taken in the development of peace and good neighborly relations,” Mollazade stated. As for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, he said they will hold them in the same way as the previous ones - at gunpoint
