The 4th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, CIPS, will be held at Baku Expo Centre from 19-22 October. For the first time the exhibition will be held on the same site as BakuBuild, the major event in the construction sector.

Such a change in the calendar was made at the request of the exhibitors and this decision has had a positive impact on the project. Support for the exhibition is provided by the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs’ (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). The partners of exhibitions in 2011 are AZAL, Azerfon-Vodafone, Greenwich Travel Club, Caspel and Caucasus Point Hotel. The exhibition is organized by the British company ITE Group PLC and its partner in the Caucasus, Iteca Caspian.

The exhibition this year will be distinguished by the latest developments in the production of high intelligent protection tools. Thus, exhibitors will include manufacturers of security systems, video cameras, access control systems, monitoring facilities and fire safety systems, among others. The companies that have booked exhibition space include Kaba Security (Germany), Elfor (Italy), Bosch Security (Netherlands), Biostream Axxonsoft (UAE), SFFECO (UAE) and SIEZA (Czech Republic). Sony will be participating in CIPS for the first time. The exhibition programme will be enriched by informative presentations and workshops from leading manufacturers in the safety industry.

CIPS 2011 will involve 35 companies from 11 countries, including those from Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, the UAE, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic. The exhibition will include the latest equipment, advanced technologies, recent developments, and designs in every area of security. The largest section of the exhibition will be devoted to security hardware and systems. Thus, the exhibition will present a wide range of CCTV cameras from leading manufacturers such as Bosch Security Systems and Sony Security. A separate section of the exhibition will be dedicated to fire safety systems, in which companies from the UAE, Russia and Ukraine will demonstrate their modular fire safety systems and solutions for residential and commercial premises. In addition, a car for emergency ambulance services, designed to transport medical equipment, supplies and personnel to the scene of the incident, and equipped to enable examination and to provide intensive care and monitoring of pre-hospital patients on-site, will be on display.

Among the newcomers are Kaba Gallenschuetz – an innovative company in access control; SMP Services (Russia), which will present Thrall Patrol 2 Automatic Tracking System; ELFOR SRL (Italy), which offers an invisible perimeter monitoring system; MOBOTIX (Germany); RCRsolution SRL (Italy) and SFFECO, a fire-fighting equipment plant from the UAE.

Most of the companies participating in the exhibition will be showcasing high-tech innovations. All the information on new products at the exhibition is included in the “Innovations Catalogue”, which, in addition to the traditional catalogue, will be specially published for the exhibition. All the products, materials and services listed in the catalogue can be easily found in the exhibition, as they will be highlighted by special badges on the stands and marked with an “Innovation Zone” icon on the plan.

CIPS 2011 is accompanied by an intense business agenda, which includes workshops, presentations and master classes. On 20 October at 15:00 a workshop will be conducted by Kaba Gallenschütz GmbH at Baku Expo Centre’s conference room.

Thus, CIPS 2011 will showcase the real achievements in all major areas of the high-tech production market, use and maintenance of equipment in the field of security, and this will make a major contribution to the growth of the investment attractiveness of the industry.
