Azerbaijani violinists conquer Russia

Young Azerbaijani violinists attended a competition ‘National Treasure – 2011’ held in the Russian city of Rostov.  Fifteen-year-old student of the Baku Music School named after G. Garayev, Nadir Eyvazov,  and ten-year-old student of the children's musical school named after M. Magomayev, Elkhan Zakizade, honored with the highest award of the competition in their age groups, and were awarded the Grand Prix. The Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry reported that young violinists’ mentors, Hokuma Aliyeva and Mahira Tabieva, were awarded the diplomas.
