Azerbaijani Philharmonic Hall hosted concert by Shlomo Mintts and Yegana Akhundova - PHOTOS

The concert was timed to coincide with the birthday of a talented pianist and was a kind of "creative report on the work done.” Akhundova performed Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninov.

In turn, Shlomo Mintts dedicated "Caprice" Paganini No. 24 to the Azerbaijani pianist and performed it in the original.

The apotheosis of the whole concert was the presentation of Akhundova’s "musical sketches" called “Mea memoria” devoted to the pianist’s parents. This is the third creative work in the same genre of pianist and composer.

Her first work “Mi parti” was published in 2000 and was recognized as the best in the television space in Azerbaijan and won its author a "Humay” national award.
