Safura's a capello act awes "Freedom" - PHOTOS

They call TopHit.ru ‘The Russian Billboard’ and it’s just turned 7! Two celebrations were running in parallels: on April 4th the popular Moscow night spot Radio City Bar&Kitchen was shaken and stirred by the industry’s moguls and on April 14th the poshiest and swankiest night joint in Kyiv – concert-hall ‘Freedom’ greeted the Ukrainin crème de la crème of the showbiz. As soon as the organizers of the TopHit.ru 7th birthday party heard that Safura is in Kiev shooting the ‘Drip Drop’ video, she was immediately invited to perform but the story doesn’t end here.

At first everything was magical. Safura shared the stage with Ukrainian and Russian celebrities - ‘Serebro’, Natalya Mogilevskaya, Iryna Bilyk, Svetlana Loboda, Alena Vinnitskaya, Vitaliy Kozlovskiy, NikitA, to name a few. The party was hosted by famous Russian stylist Sergey Zverev along with Zaza Napoli.

And then the unthinkable happened. As Safura was getting ready to sing the sound engineers have realized that they are going to be unable to replay the ‘Drip Drop’ track to which Safura was supposed to sing. And get this – she just went on singing any way! Her voice, strong as ever, shook the venue to the core and made some of the ‘whales of show business’ drop their jaws in awe. This was probably the very first standing ovation Safura had ever received and undoubtedly, the one she will remember forever. Needless to say, she was not let off stage until she sung an Azerbaijani folk song which completely destroyed the crowd.

On April 19th ‘Drip Drop’ is going to appear on TopHit.ru and will become available for the radio stations to download and play on air. Something tells us, Safura should expect quite a few downloads!
