Mugham master performs with Russian singer

The Russian performer of Azerbaijani origin, Bahh Tee (Bakhtiyar Aliyev), released a new summer hit "Baku", recorded together with the world-famous singer of mugham, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov.

"Throughout my career, I dreamed of writing a cool song about Baku that can become an international hit. I tried it many times, but it was possible only in 2016 when I wrote the song "Let's run away to Baku!," said Bahh Tee.

The rapper met mugham master Alim Gasimov in Istanbul in 2013. "I could not even dream of working with him. When we were preparing for the shooting of video, I invited him to take part in the music video. A few days later he called me and explained that he cant take part in the filming. But he said that he would sing the song with pleasure", he added.   

The shooting of the music video, directed by Emin Muradov, was held in Baku in mid-July.

Honored Artists of Azerbaijan Adalat Shukurov, Murad Dadashov, Bahram Bagirzade, as well as singer Elmir Magerramov (L-Mir),actor and director Samir Aleskerov and others took part in the video shooting for the song, Trend Life reported.

 In April this year Bahh Tee released a new album entitled "Can you?", and  music video "Together Fly",which was viewed by more than 2 million times in the first week.
