Fifth Int’l Book Exhibition and Fair due in Baku

The 5th Baku International Book Fair and Exhibition will be held on September 28-30.

The book fair will bring together more than 100 local and 30 foreign publishers and other related organizations.

Launched in 2009, the event is aimed at developing publishing industry in Azerbaijan, encouraging local publishers to build cooperation with their foreign counterparts, and promoting the country's culture and literature.

The presentation of the books, meetings with famous writers, as well as discussion on various topics related to the publishing sector will be held as part of the project.

The best publisher and the best book will be awarded on the last day of the event.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
