Azerbaijani film succeeds in China

Azerbaijani film "Two strangers", based on the outstanding writer and scientist Mir Jalal Pashayev’s book "Kantarovich Family", has won in two nominations at the international film festival Grand Asian Film Festival in Beijing (China).

The film became the winner in the nomination "Best film on a social theme", while starring Riad Abdul  was  named  "Best Actor", Trend Life reported.

"The film was shown on the final day of the festival and greeted with applause. After the premiere, we responded to numerous questions of spectators", said project’s author Huseyn Javadzadeh, who, along with Riad Abdul attended the event.

"Two strangers" was shot by ADDIM upon the order of Caspian Media Group.

The film tells about the life of a young Azerbaijani family. The spouses can't meet each other due to different working schedule.

The scriptwriter is  Nijat Dadashov, operator – Ruslan Agazade, installation – Murad Muradli, sound producer– Adalat Khalilov, music – Elvin Musayev, producer – Azer Hasanov.

The cast include Faig Mirzayev, Farhana Guliyev, Aysel Osmanli, Vusala Mammadzadeh and others.

"Two strangers" will be premiered in Baku in April during the first Forum of Young Families.
