Foreign artists display works in Old City

"ART WEEK-END" organized every weekend in Icherisheher (the Old City) continues to attract a large number of art lovers and visitors. 

This time the project, organized by the administration of State Historical-Architectural Reserve Icherisheher and Art Council Azerbaijan, displayed the works of artists from Lithuania and the United States.

Inspired by the Land of Fire, Lithuanian artist Edita Suchockyt? depicted some oriental motifs in her paintings. The beauty and grace of national motives made a truly indelible impression on the viewers.

American artist Jacob Marty is best known for his pictorial attention to details. Clear angles and vivid colors are the main features of the artist's works.

The Historical-Architectural monument "Dord Bujagli Gala" serves as a unique platform for young artists, ceramists and craftsmen during the ART WEEK-END. The weekly art fair provides a showcase for artists to express themselves though individual creativity. The event is memorized and anticipated for showing artworks in various genres .

The fair offers visitor opportunity to buy the displayed works.  Moreover, they can also participate in different entertainment programs and workshops.
