Azerbaijan joins Craft Festival in Malaysia [PHOTO]

Azerbaijan has joined the second Kuala Lumpur International Craft Festival (KLICF.

The country’s booth features works by artist Parvana Eyyubova, including art pieces, napkins, jewelry and other handmade products), Azertac reported.

Visitors also have the opportunity to taste traditional food, view national arts and read magazines about Azerbaijan.

KLICF aims to promote and showcase unique craft products and designs from all over the world.

The main highlight of the event is undoubtedly the handicraft sale which gathers impressive show of beautiful handcrafted products with innovative designs.

With ‘Crafts Unite People’ as a theme for this international event, it send the message that craft can be one of the excellent solutions to create understanding and tolerance in the world.

A total of 450 artisans from 26 countries, including Argentina, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana and other participate in the KLICF 2016.

Moreover, the festival features twelve international craft demonstrators and fifteen local craft demonstrators.

Cultural performances by Mah Meri Mask Dance and Dikir Barat from Malaysia, traditional dance from The Philippines, Thailand, Ecuador, Turkey and Nepal will also be showcased at the event.
