Nigar Narimanbekova awarded in Paris

Azerbaijan’s famous artist Nigar Narimanbekova has been awarded the prestigious prize in France, Trend Life reported.  

The artist was awarded the prize "For creation of magical universe", which is considered the highest award of the festival "Salon Business Art 2016".

"I am pleased and honored to accept this award. This is the highest award the jury of the festival "Salon Business Art 2016",” Narimanbekova said.

The "Salon Business Art" festival was held in Paris on October 21-23.

Nigar Narimanbekova displayed ten works at the event held at the Parisian Carrousel du Louvre. The artist presented her famous series of paintings "Love Toys", which has already gained love and recognition among art lovers.

Vivid and colorful paintings such as  "Puppet", "Temptation", "Confessions of a mermaid", as well as "Adagio", which won the main prize of the Salon of independent artists - TOILE D'OR 2016, are among the exhibited works.

Jean-Charles Ashe called the artist's painting "The Puppet" a masterpiece.

These wonderful paintings  will be also displayed in Versailles in January 2017. The painting "Puppet" will be displayed at  Art En Capital exhibition to be held  in February 2017.

Nigar , who lives and works in Paris and Baku, was graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography after Gerasimov in Moscow. She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

She is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art. Her paintings are displayed in the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan as well as in private collections.
