Winner of Red Bull Thre3style Azerbaijan Finals 2016 announced

DJ N. E. Z (Nazim Mehdiyev) became the winner of Red Bull Thre3style Azerbaijan Finals 2016. He will represent Azerbaijan at Red Bull Thre3style World DJ Championships in Santiago, Chile, scheduled for December, Trend Life reported.

"It was a fantastic final and an incredible victory! Although it wasn't easy to play, I saw that the crowd responds to my music and realized that I’m doing everything right. Especially the national motives were welcomed very well by audience", he said.

The competition was attended by six DJs: DJ Apple, DJ J-Watt, DJ N. E. Z, DJ Rasl, DJ Rimas and DJ Shock.

Participating DJs played a 15 minute set that must incorporate three different styles of music. It doesn’t matter what styles, whether its hip-hop, electro, funk, house or country, so long as they turn the party out.

The jury included ESKEI83 – winner of Red Bull Thre3style 2014, DJ Karve – Red Bull Thre3style winner 2010 and DJ Twist ,  three-time winner of Azerbaijan's Red Bull Thre3style. DJ Twist Bull will be a special guest at Thre3style World DJ Championships in Chile.

Red Bull Thre3Style is a worldwide competition that champions DJs who are as technically skilled as they are able to get the crowd moving.

Judges, experts in the field of DJing and rocking parties, evaluate each set according to a number of criteria including track selection, creativity, skills, stage presence and audience response. And while technical ability is very important, if a DJ cannot rock the house and get the dance-floor rolling, they don’t stand a chance of winning a Red Bull Thre3Style competition.

Since 2012, Baku has hosted three championships.  In 2014 national champions from 20 countries came together to compete at Thre3style World DJ Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
