Italian designer Andrea Lazzari to open Baku Fashion Week 2016

For the first time in Baku, Italian designer Andrea Lazzari will introduce his men's collection in the framework of Baku Fashion Week /fall/winter 2016,Trend Life reports.

The grandiose Baku Fashion Week fall/winter 2016 is scheduled for May 13-15.

The "Production Center of Hafiz Agayev", FMS Models and IDFashion Tv channel earlier joined their efforts for promotion of the event.

Andrea Lazzari graduated the Istituto Marangoni. His collection Plùs Que Ma Vìe was showed both in Milan and Paris in June 2013 as the winner of the Best Menswear Brand Award at Marangoni Institute. The first official collection – Bauhaus – was presented in August 2013 at Moroshka Fashion Week, in St. Petersburg.

Plùs Que Ma Vìe has the aim of creating a new collective imagination and a unique style, which summarizes, in an exclusive essence, characters of minimalism, concept design and clean lines.

The entity of the Brand is enclosed in the idea of proposing a product that best represents progress and futurity, without neglecting the formalism and sartorial elegance of classic apparel.

Plùs Que Ma Vìe aspires to renovate the stereotype of classic menswear, by varying shapes and sizes and by looking for a new elegance without laying any expressive boundaries.

"The average target goes from twenty to forty years. He must be a wealthy person, who has some financial means. Our client is an elegant person with the desire to have something more. Hence, from here the sense of our name Plùs Que Ma Vìe, More Than My Life", says Lazzari.

Italian designer thinks that black is the dominant element and the color in each collection. All other colors revolve around him, and help maintain a constant and clean aesthetics.

"Black never dies. Black is the foundation of everything. When you think about fashion, you think black. You start from black to create all the color combinations and silhouettes. Behind the black there is a philosophy that you can’t find behind other colors", he added.
