Azerbaijani actors to perform in St. Petersburg

The Drama Theatre on Vasilevsky in St. Petersburg will host on its stage actors from the Azerbaijani State Russian Drama Theatre in November 2015.

During the visit, the play "Masquerade" by Michael Lermontov will be staged on November 11 by Azerbaijani artist Alexander Sharovsky.

The premiere of "Masquerade" was held in Baku in November 2013 and was timed to the 200th anniversary of Mikhail Lermontov.

The theater play "Phaedra" based on the work of Jean Racine and directed by Alexander Sharovskiy will be staged on November 12. The premiere of "Phaedra" was held in April 2010.
