Join "Night at Museum" at Modern Art Museum

The Baku-based Modern Art Museum will open its doors for an exciting event called “Night at the Museum” on September 26.

The event will be held from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is truly a unique opportunity for visitors.

The museum, which turned six years old this March, is located at the Yusif Safarov street 5. It features about 1,000 works from Azerbaijani contemporary artists.

The museum consists of collections of Azerbaijan’s best paintings and sculptures from the second half of the 20th century up to now.

This time, visitors can familiarize themselves with works of young artist Zarnishan Yusif.

While viewing the valuable exhibits and works of art, guests will treated to a special musical performance from Manual FM and DJ Hazy and favorite national ensemble Natig rhythm group.

The organizers have also prepared a master class by the SevimliBala club for parents with children from 5 to 10 years.

In 2014, the Carpet Museum of Baku hosted an Open Doors Night, where visitors enjoyed a large exposition and unique samples of applied arts.

This June, the YARAT Contemporary Art Center organized a similar event where guests experienced the modern museum offering unlimited opportunities for active education and enjoyment.

Night at the Museum’ is an extraordinary annual event, which has already taken place for almost forty years in more than 143 countries around the world to promote intellectual curiosity.
