The Berlin Philharmonic hosted a concert of students of famous musician Zakhar Bron.

The glorious band included four young violinists: Azerbaijani virtuoso Elvin Ganiyev, Japan Mone Hattori, Elli Choi from the U.S. and Ellinor de Melon from Jamaica.

Young Elvin mesmerized all the guests with his amazing performance.

Elvin was born in Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from the Bilkent University’s music faculty and is currently studying at Queen Sofía College of Music.

The talented violinist is a participant of many international festivals and competitions. Elvin has taken part in several events held in Azerbaijan and other countries.

He is a laureate of such famous international events as XI International Young Violinist Competition named after Wieniawski and Lipinski (Poland), “Classic Heritage” (Russia), as well as International Competition of Young Musicians named after Tchaikovsky (Switzerland), and “Madrid Nights” (Spain).

In 2008, Elvin was included in the list of the Golden Book of Young Talents by order of President Ilham Aliyev.

After gaining victory in 2010 in the international competition held in Italy, he was awarded with a medal by Pope.

In April, Elvin will share the stage with Vadim Repin and Ivry Gitlis at a concert dedicated to Niccolo Paganini in the Berlin Philharmonic.
