Azerbaijani People's Artist to perform in Iran

Azerbaijani People's Artist Alim Qasimov will give a concert at the Vahdat Palace in Tehran, Iran, AzerTag state news agency reported.

Gasimov is a master of the ancient Ashig folk art. He was awarded the International Music Council-UNESCO Music Prize in 1999.

During the concert, Azerbaijani mugham singer will share the stage with his daughter Farghana Qasimova.

Tehran Symphony Orchestra will accompany the singers.
