Baku to host parade of countries

"Parade of countries" will kicked off in Baku from November 1. The event will last for one year in the shopping center Park Boulevard.

Representatives of more than 20 countries will take part at this interesting event.

The first country which will open the parade is Russia. The large-scale cultural presentation titled "Window to Russia" will start at 17:00 and run until November 7.

The program includes painting exhibitions of young artists "From the mouth of Mikhail Lermontov and Mirza Fatali Akhundov" as well as handicrafts works and souvenirs from Russia.

"Pomegranate Three" exhibition which will put on display the works of thirty young and talented Azerbaijani artists will be an interesting addition to the event.

Referral service, located on the first floor, will provide all visitors with extensive information about admission and studying procedures in Russian universities.

The cultural event has been co-organized by Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku, its art and dance studios, creative youth club "Constellation" and the shopping center Park Boulevard.

Moreover, a massive five-minute gymnastics event will be held on the first floor of Park Boulevard at 17:00 from November 1.

This mass action is devoted to the first European Games, which will be held in Baku in 2015.

The three-time champion and honored coach of Azerbaijan, Nurjahan Askerova and her pupils will hold an exciting class. After the class, participants will have a chance to attend a concert of young pop singers and modern dance performers.

The guests will also have an opportunity to visit a fashion shoe of little fashion mongers. They will present collections of fashionable clothing, created by modern designers incorporating the best traditions of Russian and Azerbaijani fashion schools.
