World beauties to glamorize Baku

Baku will host the final of prestigious 89th international beauty contest "Miss Globe International".

The event will be held in the biggest concert hall of the country, Crystal Hall, on August 27 and 120 beautiful participants would take part at the event.

Turkish famous actress and leading Burju Esmersoy will be leading player of the contest.

Such famous celebrities as Demet Akalin, Gokhan Ozan, Inna, Lolita, Asena and many other stars will take part at the beauty contest.

Earlier, there was held a press conference attended by the director of the project Savash Agja, head of the press center of the "Khazar ?slands" complex Habil Guliyev, which is the main sponsor of the project and executive director of "Femina" fur store Tural Mammadov, which is the gold-sponsor of the contest.

Savash Agja said that all the preparations are being implementing for the final.

He also said that the participants will arrive in Azerbaijan on August 13 and will be here till the end of the final.

They arrive earlier in order to stroll through the country, to get acquainted with its history and culture and see Azerbaijan's famous architectural places, located in the center of the city and regions of the country.

The members of the jury will choose the beauty of the universe. All the jury members will have special Ipad, which will help them vote for the favorite participants. It is also expected to hold a popular vote, but arrangement for this issue is still in process.

The names of the members of the juries are kept in secret. It's only known that famous people from different countries, as well as from Azerbaijan would be included. The names will be announced during ten days of final event.

The director also noted that the participants will demonstrate several outfits such as national, wedding and night. They also will walk on the run way in fur coats and bikinis will be replaced by other frank dresses.

He said that beauty and body shape are more important and these are the main qualities the members of the jury will pay attention.

18 years old Banu Shudjai, who will represent Azerbaijan at this international contest also attended at the conference.

"Almost every day I receive lessons from professionals to worthily represent Azerbaijan. I really hope to win, as well as other participants. This is my main goal now," Banu said.

The winner will be awarded with the flat in Istanbul. She also will be presented with other gifts by the sponsors.

The final will be broadcasted by many foreign channels, such as Kanal D magazine, Star magazine, Show TV magazine, Tv8 Magazine. The contest will be broadcasted in three languages, namely Azerbaijani, Turkish and English.
