Ukrainian soloist to take stage in Baku

Soloist of National Opera of Ukraine, laureate of international contests Mikhail Kirishev will appear at the stage of the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre jointly with Azerbaijanis soloists. They will perform “La Traviata”, the opera by renowned Italian music composer Guiseppe Verdi, on December 22.

The opera will be directed by young conductor Eyyub Guliyev.

Kirishev will perform aria of Jermon, while other roles will be performed by Azerbaijani people`s artist Ali Askerov and honored artists Gulnaz Ismaylova, Sabina Asadova, Akram Poladov and Farid Aliyev.

Opera written on motives «Ladies with camellias», and the novel is created by the author on motives of personal experiences.
