Well-known Azerbaijani pianist to perform in Turkey

Famous Azerbaijani pianist Islam Manafov will perform in Istanbul, Turkey, on Tuesday.
Son and daughter of Islam Manafov Abuzar and Turan Manafzade will also perform works by Frédéric Chopin at the concert.

Manafov actually represents an important tradition of his homeland. Beginning his musical education at the age of 7, Manafov later attended another music school for five years and then Baku Musical High School -a well-known school in Azerbaijan- for four years before he ended up at the famous Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

Manafov gives around 100 concerts a year.
