People's Artist Yashar Nuri died - UPDATE - PHOTOS

Family and friends said good bye to People's Artist of Azerbaijan Yashar Nuri at his funeral today.

"I came to see you, come to once again hear your applause. This world does not belong to anyone, and no one will take anything with him to another world, only due to his works the man will be remembered...’ With these words that Yashar Nuri voiced at his 60th anniversary, a farewell to the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Yashar Nuri, who died on Thursday after a serious illness, began.

'For us the death of Yashar Nuri, who played his first role in nine years, is a very great loss,' Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev said at the farewell ceremony.

Today, actor of Azerbaijan State Academic Drama Theatre, People’s Artist, Yashar Nuri died. According to  the family of the actor's the People's Artist passed away today morning in the early hours.   

Nuri’s health got worse on September 15, he received treatment in the Hospital of the State Customs Committee. Earlier, the People’s Artist also received treatment in Turkey’s Istanbul Memorial Hospital.
