Young Azeri sculptor`s work demonstrated in France - PHOTOS

Young Azerbaijani sculptor Maryam Alakbarli`s plaster sculpture “Awakening of nature”, has been put on display in the exhibition of works of painting and sculpture by students and alumni of the National School of Decorative Arts, which opened on Thursday at the Crous gallery here.

Art buff Guillaume Blanche said that “Awakening of nature” by Maryam Alakbarli is a product of inner senses, thoughts and imagination of the sculpture.

“She can point out the awakening of nature, the difficult process how human beings perceive the laws of nature,” he added. Young Azerbaijani sculputer`s works were also demonstrated in French capital Paris in December, 2011 and solo exhibition will open late March in Moscow, Russia.
