Azerbaijan suspends construction of over 900 facilities

Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Minister, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov said construction work on more than 900 facilities was suspended in 2011. "This year, there was audited nearly 3300 objects, 1,200 of them were tasked to eliminate the identified deficiencies. It was decided to temporarily suspend construction in regard of 910 objects,” he said yesterday.  “The work is underway to ensure compliance with the legislation, norms and security rules in the country’s construction industry.
