Azerbaijani mobile phone market ups

Azerbaijan imported over 116,700 mobile phones worth more than $6.9 million in January-October, the State Statistics Committee's report reads. According to the report, import of mobile phones increased by 40.9 percent compared to the similar indicator of 2010, in money terms - by 25.8 percent. The country's average monthly import hits 10,000 mobile phones. Monthly volume of the mobile phone market in money terms amounts to about 600,000-650,000 manat.
