Azerbaijan's oil import to Germany hits 2.4 mln tons

Germany's oil import from Azerbaijan decreased to 2.461 million tons in January-October of 2011 compared to 2.991 million tons during the same period of 2010, Reuters reported referring to Germany's economic and foreign trade statistics office BAFA.

According to the official data, Germany imported 275,000 tons of oil from Azerbaijan in October 2011. Germany's oil import from Kazakhstan amounted to 6.024 mln tons in January-October of 2011 compared to 6.670 mln tons during the same period of 2011. Kazakhstan exported to Germany 600,000 tons of oil in October of 2011.
