Soft loans for business increase in Azerbaijan

The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) under the Economic Development Ministry has funded 1,289 projects worth 106.4 million manat over three quarters of this year, according to the Fund's balance sheet, published in the official press.

According to information, implementation of these projects through soft loans NFES helps create 5,111 new jobs.

Over three quarters, the NFES funded 84 projects in various spheres of industrial production and processing in amount of 24.5 million manat. In the sphere of processing agricultural products, 16.2 million manat were allocated for the implementation of 12 projects, agricultural production - 51.7 million manat for 1,174 projects, development of services - 13.3 million manat for 13 projects, the development of tourism - 755,000 manat for six projects.
