The new agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey on gas transit to Europe will be signed on October 25.
Note that, on 25 October, Aliaga region of Turkey will host groundbreaking ceremony for oil-refining plant, built on investments of SOCAR. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev did not rule out the possibility of signing a framework agreement during groundbreaking ceremony.
DEPA leadership noted that the planned agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey assumed great importance in gas transportation to Europe. “Signing this agreement will have an impact on a number of questions on deliveries to the destination market of certain volumes of gas” said President of DEPA Harris Sachinis.
