Atlantic Council to ‘hold’ energy conference in Baku

President of US think-tank the Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe has said the organization is going to hold its Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum in Baku in 2012. Kempe met Azerbaijan's minister of industry and energy, Natig Aliyev. The Atlantic Council president praised Azerbaijan`s international image.

Kempe invited Azerbaijan's Minister of Industry and Energy to attend the Atlantic Council`s next Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum due to be held in Istanbul in November. Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan`s energy projects.

The Atlantic Council was founded in 1961, with the mission to encourage the continuation of cooperation between North America and Europe.
