Azerbaijan may have new transportation facility – PHOTOS

Flyovers for high-speed trams with intellectual control may be constructed in Azerbaijan in near future, department head of Transport Policy and Economy under the Azerbaijan's Transport Ministry Sadraddin Mammadov said.

"This issue, however, has not been presented to the Cabinet of Ministers yet. If public demand for this kind of transportation raises, so, we will put forward this issue to the government", Mammadov noted.

Mammadov said that If the Cabinet approves the proposal, the flyover will be constructed stretching from the Baku International Bus Station towards Sumgait city with route Baku-Sumgait-Baku.

"The trams are very comfortable, provided with TV; don't contribute to the environmental pollution as they work with electricity and have unmanned control system", the department head said.
