Azerbaijani deflation continued in July

Consumer goods prices and service tariffs decreased by 0.8% in July, 2011, compared to a month ago.

According to State Statistical Committee, food products prices dropped 1.6%, non-food products prices rose 0.1%, payable services remained unchanged.

“The prices of flour, buckwheat, fish, milk, lemon, banana, apple, pear, cherry-plum, cherry, sweet cherry, peach, apricot, watermelon and melon, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, pepper, egg-plant, greens, onion and potato decreased during the same period”.
